I’ve been a writer and photographer since I was about nine as I’ve always loved to write and take photos. I was in both my high school and college newspapers and also wrote articles for the MBA department newsletter while I was in graduate school at the University of San Francisco.
In the early 1990s, I published a Bay Area heavy metal music magazine, Nocturne Magazine, which featured interviews with bands and concert reviews. I often took photos at concerts from clubs to stadiums.
Nowadays, I regularly write and take photos for Science Fiction/San Francisco, which I edit and publish with my husband, Christopher Erickson. You can find more information in my Science Fiction/San Francisco web page.
I also write a column about costumes for Examiner.com. My title is SF Costume Design Examiner, and I also have an SF Costume Design Examiner web page.
There are numerous other publications I contribute my writing and photography to. All of my articles are in my Various Publications web page.
