For our honeymoon, Christopher and I decided to do Globus’s 9-Day Britain Sampler* tour. But before that, we spent two days exploring London and got to see the Sherlock Holmes Museum and the newly reopened Kensington Palace (with an exhibit about Queen Victoria and some of Princess Diana’s dresses). We also got to go on a tour of the BBC. I’d already previously seen the Globe Theatre, Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London but Christopher wanted to see them and it was nice to see them again as they all had updates and Buck House had a special exhibit to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. After we got back from our whirlwind tour of the west side of England, through Wales, up to Scotland and back down through the east side of England, we went to Abbey Road to pose for photos and see the famous studio.
